We haven't got enough information to clarify which tribe they belonged to.They are claimed to have belonged the Bayats that had migrated to Iraq during the Mogol invasions. The tribe is stated to be formed by 32 nefers in H.946 (1539) in the deed inventery.They are registered to be consisted of two groups that one of them settled in Musul, and the other in Kerkük formed by 20 bennaks and mücerreds.
Today, there is a village called Biravcılı in 12km away from the southwest of Tuzharmatu belonged to Kerkük.The groups that formed the population of the tribe are: Corcalilar, Dögerler, Uncular, Kargabegler, Hilavlılar,and İsmailler.That the tribe's name related to Biravcı Tribe is most possible.Furthermore,a society known as Biravcılı known to live in Yengice Village in Tuzhurmatu.
