The reserve ratio of exportation to cover importation was about 50% during the years of 1990 in the country. This ratio has increased to the rate of 77.8% in the course of the crisis in 1994. The increase in the importation with the growth rate of 53.5% in the year of 1995 has decreased the reserve ration of import to cover export. As a result of this trend that continued in the year of 1996, the reserve ratio of export to cover import was 53.2%. This ratio that was observed as 54.1% in the year of 1997 has increased to the rate of 58.7% as a result of the decrease in the importation and increase in the exportation in the year of 1998.
