The Turcmen living in southern part of Sivas and Uzunyayla and in winter in Haleb, were stated to were have coma from the parts of Beğdili, Harbendelu and İnallu Tribes.Although Harbende Tribe was not known to which clan they belonged, it is understood that the name was taken from Harbende, the ruler of İlhanlı.Harbendelu or Harbendeli Tribe were settling especially around Malatya.Some groups from Harbendelular are known to have migrated to Midde and west Asia in 17. and 18. centuries.It is also confirmed taht the Haleb Turks were mainly formed by big groups such as Beğdili, Harbendelu, Bayat and İnallu; some small tribes as Karkın, Kızık, Uç, Acurlu, Kaçılu, Peçenek, Döger, Kınık, Eymür, Bahadırlu, Karakoyunlu etc. One of the main Turk Tribes, Şamlu that Safevi State was based on consisted of Begdili, Inallu (Inanlu) and Harbendelu Tribes. Nowadays, a Turk group known as Harbende, which has the larges population and belong to Kerkük, settle in Tuzhurmatu.This Turk group, supposed to be the descendant of Harbendelular, is stated to be an important tribe among others as forming the population of Tuzhurmatu.
