Upon the slaying of Yermak, the situation of Kazakhs and Russians in Isker got worsened at all. Meanwhile, Gluhov that was the Russian governor in Isker had only 150 soldiers. It was impossible to maintain the domination in Sibir through this few forces. Under these circumstances, the Russians were obliged to run away from Sibir. As a result, Gluhov took his Kazakhs and Russian soldiers with him and evaluated Isker on the date of 15th August 1584 and he set in motion in order to return to Russia. The city of Isker was invaded by Bekbulat's son, Seyyid Ak within a short period.

At the same time, 100 Russian soldiers were set in motion with several artillery pieces in order to go to Moscow from Sibir under the command of a person named as Mansurov, one of Tatar princes that had adopted the religion of Christianity in the past. When Mansurov reached Obi River, he bombarded and demolished the "idols" that were worshipped and considered as holy materials by Ostyak people. Upon this development, Ostyak people got afraid and recognised the Russian domination. This time, the Sibir country started to get under the dominion of Russians from the direction of the north.
