Bediüzzaman in Istanbul
Zahireddin Muhammed Babür from Timur family could not attain any success in the country of his ancestors and he went to India. He founded the Great Indian-Turkish Empire there (1526).
Hüseyin Baykara's other son, Bediüzzaman Mırza were defeated by Uzbek people. Then, he took shelter in Shah Ismail Safevi and he stayed with him for six years. Then, he left him and came to Istanbul and he was the guest of Yavuz Sultan Selim. Bediüzzaman's ancestor, Tamburlaine had taken Bayezid as prisoner. However, Yavuz showed respect to Tamburlaine's grandson; he assigned him as the Great Turkish Khan and he enthroned him to the throne that he had constructed next to him.
Bediüzzaman was a poet that wrote Turkish poems like his father. He died in Istanbul at the early age of 46 on the date of 12th August 1515. He was buried in his mausoleum in Eyup Sultan.
Upon the death of Huseyin Baykara, the period of Timur dynasty came to an end in the Central Asia. However, the Indian-Turkish Empire that would be founded by Zahireddin Babur, one of Tamburlaine's grandsons would exist for a further period of 352 years.
Turkish language that was spoken in the period of Timurogullari was the Chagatai dialect. The Chagatai language was spoken in the entire Turkestan, in other words, in the Central Asia as well as the Turkish States. The works written in this dialect were favoured and read in the entire Turkish world, for example in Anatolia, the Balkans and Egypt. In the period of khanates that had been founded before and after Timurlu period, there were some works written in Chagatai Turkish.
