Pursuant to the death of Mohammed b. Togc, his sons replaced him, but they were merely puppet rules. In the Ihsidi State, the main power pertained to Kafur that was the Mohammed's slave from Nubya who was assigned as the regent of the sultanate for his children before his death. Firstly, Unucur (On Uygur-Ten Uighurs) was the successor of Mohammed b. Togc. Unucur was effected by the instigation of some of his friends and wanted to get rid of the guardianship of Kafur. To this effect, he went to Ramle (954). However, he could not realise his thoughts. Finally, his son and Kafur were able to calm him down. Pursuant to the death of Unucur, Ali replaced him (961). Kafur was still the regent. In this period, Syria was under the dominion of Egypt again. Pursuant to the death of Ali in 966, Kafur declared himself as the only ruler of Egypt. This situation was also approved by the Abbasi Caliph, el-Muti. The government of Kafur on his own did not last too long and he died in 968. In the period together with his regency, Kafur had stopped the expansion and progress of Fatimi State that advanced along the coasts of the Northern Africa and he had defended Syria against Hamdani people with a great success. Furthermore, his wealth was on everybody's tongue. Pursuant to the death of Kafur, Ali's son, Ahmed came to power, but his weak administration fell short and Fatimi State invaded Egypt and abolished Ihsidi State (969).
